Shravani is a place where parents understand their childs hearing loss and where children begin their journey of learning to listen & talk.
Ms. Geetanjali Singh is particularly interested in the development of children below 5 years. She worked exclusively on Parent Infant Programme (PIP) Department of Audiology at Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped (AYJNIHH). She is actively involved at Shravani since April 2006. Currently she is the Director of the same and is actively involved in reaching out where children with Hearing Impairment are not getting benefit. Ms. Geetanjali Singh is invited to present papers and to chair sessions at SNDT Women’s University - Mumbai as a guest lecturer for their special education course. She wrote several articles on Hearing Impairment in print media. She is also developing a booklet on guiding & informing parents & families about proper & good rehabilitation. In addition to all this she regularly participates in continuing education programmes.
